Type of key

These vehicles come with 2 types of keys and the have two completely different system

JLR  spare key and AKL(all keys lost)

This is a highly specialized service. Pricing is dependent on your vehicle's specific generation and whether the underlying security modules are factory write-locked. We are fully equipped to handle all scenarios on-site. While we may not be the cheapest independent option available, our services are still significantly cheaper and faster than the main dealer, while strictly utilizing genuine OEM keys and dealer-grade software. This ensures your manufacturer warranty and vehicle security remain 100% unaffected.

Note: If you choose to use a cheaper locksmith, please be aware of the high risk of non-UWB keys being used and the danger of damaging your vehicle's sensitive ECUs. While we strictly recommend original hardware, we can supply non-UWB keys upon request—however, for insurance and liability reasons, you will be made fully aware of the repercussions before we proceed

Type 1 spare key & AKL(All Key Lost)

Type 1 keys operate on the older KVM system. Many of these security modules are write-locked from the factory, requiring precise EEPROM removal and bench-soldering to read the data safely. We provide a seamless, OEM-level programming solution with zero risk to your vehicle's electronics.

AKL (All Keys Lost) Type 1: > If all keys are missing, the programming follows a similar high-level bench adaptation procedure. Depending on the current lock status of the existing control units, we decode the module directly to generate a fully functioning key.

Type 2 spare key

Type 2 keys operate on the ultra-secure RFA system and utilize advanced UWB (Ultra-Wideband) proximity technology.

A spare key path for these vehicles means syncing an additional transponder into the system securely. If you only have one key and require a duplicate, our advanced diagnostic equipment integrates the new hardware safely, bypassing the standard main dealer restrictions and giving you a fraction of their lead time.

Type 2 key security policy

Due to Land Rover's high-security modules and total security lockdowns on modern ECUs, adding a second key or replacing missing keys often requires an intricate interrogation of the vehicle's UWB tracking system.

To properly unlock the security protocols and complete the module programming cleanly, the system frequently requires two keys present during the vehicle adaptation cycle. Our dealer-grade tooling handles this complex synchronization safely on-site.

Type 2 AKL(all key lost) solutions

Recovering a modern Type 2 vehicle when all keys are completely missing involves advanced cryptographic decoding. While highly restricted, this service is fully supported by our mobile workshop.

We strictly utilize genuine OEM UWB smart keys. We never use cheap aftermarket fobs. This guarantees that your vehicle's original keyless entry defense mechanisms remain 100% active, completely securing your car against modern relay theft methods.
